IFAS professor named AAAS Fellow

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Animal sciences professor Peter Hansen has been named a 2007 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The award honors efforts to advance scientific applications deemed scientifically or socially distinguished.
Hansen was among 471 AAAS members named fellow this year, and the only one from UF. He was selected for his contributions to the field of reproductive biology. His research focuses on factors that determine pregnancy success in mammals.
